Bridget Ellen Cunningham, the youngest daughter of Thomas and Margaret Cunninghammay have commenced her schooling in Ormond (Springbank) before her parents moved to Werribee where she attended the same school as her brothers and sisters. Bridget Ellen was particularly close to her brother James (Jim) at school and in later life they were to remain close friends and confidants as they battled tough times together. Bridget Ellen's first move to Werribee with her parents was followed a few years later by the family move to the farm "Labasheeda" at Nar Nar Goon South. Bridget Ellen now known to all as Nell, and a teenager was developing into a caring young woman.
