John G. Hacking Services Held In Maeser Ward.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Maeser Ward Chapel for John G. Hacking, 85. He died in the Uintah County Hospital Saturday of natural causes.

Mr. Hacking was born January 18, 1881 in Vernal to James and Anna Marie Glines Hacking. He married Isabell Bodily, July 28, 1903 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was a graduate of the Brigham Young University and served an LDS mission to the North-central states. He was a farmer and stockman and worked as a sexton at the Maeser Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, one brother, three sisters, Qwen and Mrs. May Calder, both of Vernal; Mrs. Cora Mitchell, Midvale and Mrs. Nellie Colton, Orem.

Burial was in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.
