Note	"JOHANNE MARIE was born on the 26th March, 1851, as the third child of Johann Carl Walter, and his wife Johanne Christiane, nee Scholz. On the 16th June. 1869 she Married Johann Friedrich Schmidt. For the first years after their Marriage the Young couple worked the vacant farm at Light Pass. Later that same year Friedrich took up Virgin land at Neales Flat, and by 1873 was sufficiently established on his new farm to bring his wife and two daughters to their new home. In 1888 the family moved to a larger farm at nearby Brownlow. They were blessed with a family of 3 sons and 8 daughters. Johanne Marie lived there till the Lord called her home on the 1st July, 1939, having attained the high age of 88 years 3 months and 4 days. Her husband had predeacesed her on the 14th September, 1927. They both found their last resting place in the Immanuel Cemetary at Point Pass." "JOHANNE MARIE was born on the 26th March, 1851, as the third child of Johann Carl Walter, and his wife Johanne Christiane, nee Scholz. On the 16th June. 1869 she Married Johann Friedrich Schmidt. For the first years after their Marriage the Young couple worked the vacant farm at Light Pass. Later that same year Friedrich took up Virgin land at Neales Flat, and by 1873 was sufficiently established on his new farm to bring his wife and two daughters to their new home. In 1888 the family moved to a larger farm at nearby Brownlow. They were blessed with a family of 3 sons and 8 daughters.
