Edward was born at a farm near the Blanchard River in Marion Twp. on SR568 in Hancock Co., OH. The original Thomas farm was across the riverand it pictured in the Historical Atlas of Hancock County, OH, published1875. The drawing is on p. 109. Ed was the janitor at the Little RedSchool House on Twp. Rd. 236, now restored, when he was a young man.
Edna resided on a farm to the south in Marion Twp. near where theFindlay Reservoir now is, on Kistler Road. She played the piano at theBethlehem church on the corner of the road. They were married by Rev.Rush A. Powell. Ed built a home on Center St., Findlay and he worked atthe Garwood Insustries and played in their band. I have a picture of theband.
They moved to Eagle Township and farmed there until the l950's whenthey moved into Findlay and resided on East Lima St. where they both died.
