"KARL IMMANEL Scholz (or Charlie as he was later known) was born at Light Pass on 4th November, 1875. As a Young man he came to N.S.W. where he lived in Culcairn, Henty, and Wagga Wagga districts.

His main work was a contractor to Fell timber which he burned for charcoal. From the charcoal gas was produced to drive suction engines and also for use by BlackSmiths. He and his bRother Fred, for many years supplied charcoa for gas to drive the engines at the Wagga electricity Power station and supplied Wood to fire Wagga brick kilns.

His Marriage partner was Sophia Lydia Muller.

He died at Fulgong on 21st July, 1954 and is buried at Medgee.

She died at Wagga on 12th September, 1965, and is also buried there.

The Marriage was blessed with five sons and one daughter."
