Deceased Name: Clara Colton Hall UT United States

Clara Colton Hall 1915 ~ 2007 Born November 18, 1915 in Maeser, Utah, died February 12, 2007 in Provo, Utah Clara is the daughter of Frank Edwin Colton and Phebe Jane Merkley Colton. Her pioneer family consisted of 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by two of her brothers, Frank and Boyd. She married Clyde Hall May 4th, 1940 and they shared 58 years of love and fishing until Clyde's death in 1998. Mother of four and friend to all, she left this world surrounded by her loved ones at home. She died peacefully after a lifetime of service and caring for others. Clara had an obsession for learning and read every book she could find. She taught this love to her children early on by reading to them every night. It was a special treat to attend one of her church classes. She made the Gospel live in your heart. Her example was outstanding. She put the Gospel first in her life and taught through example. She had a passion for needlework and it is displayed proudly in many homes. She gained a love for the arts while living in New York City as a youth and spent as much time as she could at musicals and operas. She loved to attend the concerts and recitals of her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by her children Margene Jolley, Brent and Mary Hall, Ned and Wendy Hall, Steven and Jeannette Hall. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kirk Jolley and her husband. Her heritage is her 25 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren. They will all remember a warm meal, a fun place to stay and an unconditional love for them and anyone they brought to her home with them. Her brothers and sisters are: Elizabeth Lombardi (Ernest), Elmo Colton (Jewell), George Bills (Dard), Garth Colton (Betty), Frank Colton (Katie), Mar Caldwell (Wallace), Lela Goodrich (Frank), Thora Mitchell (Arzy), Annie Bench (Donald), Nellie Perry (Leonard), Boyd Colton (Doris). Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 19th at 10:00 a.m. in Pleasant View 6th LDS Ward at 2445 N. 650 E., Provo, Utah. A graveside service will be held in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery in Vernal at 3:30 that afternoon. A viewing will be held Sunday evening, Feb. 18th from 6 to 8 at the Walker-Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E. 800 N. in Orem, and 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services Monday.
