Note	Under the Scottish naming practices her name should be Mary or Agnes from the names of John Neilson's children. Her daughter Mary's death Cert says that her name is Mary - so Mary it is. I have searched for daughters Elizabeth, Margaret & Janet in the Statutory Death records, but not found them. Mary could be Mary Gillies. The only Mary in the surviving OPRs to marry a William Struthers in the period 1760 to 1783 was Mary Gillies; who married a William Struthers in Barony and in Glasgow in 1767. They baptised 6 children in Barony: William 8 Jan 1769 Alexander 9 Sep 1770 Robert 29 Mar 1772 Margaret 27 Mar 1774 Alexander 15 Aug 1776 and James 31 May 1778 and POSSIBLY 6 in East Kilbride Andrew 23 Jun 1780 Elizabeth 2 Mar 1783 Mary 23 Apr 1785 Janet 19 Aug 1788 Margaret 6 Jun 1791 Margaret 6 Nov 1793 the timing suggests a continuity between Barony & East Kilbride if this is Mary Gillies she was 45 when the last Margaret was born.
