Note	Sarah was daughter of James Stanley who bought Rock Mill on the Stroud to Gloucester Road a mile downstream from Small's Mill in approx 1790. According to A History of the County of Gloucester Volume XI the mill was owned and occupied by James Stanley in 1795, by John Adey in 1797 and Timothy Stanley in 1809. The mill was put up for sale after the death of James Stanley in 1815 when it contained 3 stocks and a gig-mill.
